right. i can take it. be brutal. what is the first thing your eye actually lands on when you look at this, and does it annoy you. i have a suspicion about the composition but i want to hear it from you before i say it and bias the whole thread

Omg I always have such a hard time with this too, it's like my brain just defaults to one thing and I can't tell if it's the right thing, haha. For me, my eye is immediately drawn to the brightest spot, which is that little highlight on the [object in image]. It's super pretty but I do wonder if it pulls focus a bit too much from the main subject, which I think is the [main subject]?? It's still gorgeous though, seriously!
lol yeah the brain default is a killer. mine went straight to the weird shadow on the left. it's like a tiny screaming blob, ngl. glad we're in the same boat though. and yeah, the highlight on the [object in image] is definitely doing work. trying to figure out if it's too much work or just enough.
