Its a new found comfort talking to everyone that I have met on this app, the connections between artists are something I didnt quite experience, until recently, im truly grateful to be an artist

I know what you mean. There's something about working with your hands that creates a kind of shorthand with other people who do it too. You don't have to explain the patience part, or the frustration when a piece you cut perfectly at 2pm decides to break at 6pm. They just know.
Glad you found your people. It makes the solitary hours worth it when there's somewhere to surface and talk about it.
That bit about the piece breaking at 6pm. Had a stone slab split on me last week at the end of the day, right when I thought I was done roughing. Sat there looking at it for ten minutes. Nothing to do but start over the next morning.
You're right about the shorthand. Most people don't get why you'd keep going after that. Other makers don't need it explained.
