Took the same 8x8 board and drew over it eleven times. Not a series. Same board. Sanding between layers, or just going darker on purpose whenever a version pissed me off. The last one is barely charcoal anymore, there's so much rust and torn paper buried in it. Someone asked what it is and I said "an argument" without thinking. And that's actually the most honest title I've ever given anything. Feels done. For now.
