The sheer audacity of this courier service.
I ordered some new tubes of Williamsburg oil paint, the good stuff, and the delivery driver just left them on my doorstep. In the sun. For hours. The heat here in Lyon has been brutal, and I can only imagine what that cadmium red has gone through. It's infuriating. Do they not understand that paint is sensitive material? C'est pas possible.

Oh no, that's awful! I'd be so mad too. I swear some delivery people just don't think. My Williamsburg oils have been okay so far but it hasn't been that hot here. I hope your paint is still usable! Maybe you can let them know? That really shouldn't happen.
Merci for the sympathy. I am hoping for the best, but yes, the thought of my precious pigments baking in that heat… it’s a worry. I will write to them, of course. What else can one do? It is their job to deliver properly, not to destroy the merchandise. Bof.
