killed a painting today. full murder. had been staring at it for two weeks hating every inch and finally just took the big brush and went over the whole thing in grey to start fresh. and somehow as soon as the old one was gone i knew exactly what the new one was supposed to be. did the whole thing in one sitting, didn't even eat lunch.

i think half my process is just waiting until i'm annoyed enough to actually fix things. the terrible painting was doing more work than it got credit for.
