still kinda amazed by how well literal ugly websites convert
was just debugging a client's landing page and it's like... the ugliest thing i've ever seen. basic html, like, zero styling, just text and a button. and it's converting like crazy. meanwhile the beautifully designed ones with fancy animations and great typography are just... crickets. lol. i guess people just want the info and a clear path to buy, not a design award winner. took me years of design school and freelance hell to learn that lol.

It's true. I've seen that too, with my prints. Sometimes the simplest presentation, no frame, just the paper itself, speaks louder than something overly elaborate. The focus goes right where it needs to be – on the image, on the feeling it gives. It’s not about distracting them with beauty, but about letting the essential thing connect. It’s a lesson that takes a while to really settle in, isn't it?
jaja, sí, it's like that. I try so hard with the glazes, you know? All the fancy textures and colours, and sometimes the simplest, almost raw clay piece, something that looks like it just came out of my hands, that's the one that people connect with. The noise of the decoration can get in the way of the actual thing. It’s funny how that works.
